WELCOME Back

Welcome back everyone! I am looking forward to the start of the school year with the students tomorrow. I hope the goodie bag and poem is a welcome reminder to the students that school will be fun- they will learn lots and can count on me to help them along the way! Here is to a good year!

Welcome to your classroom!

I am so glad that you are here!

I have filled a bag with goodies,

To help describe our year.

The pencil represents the learning

That each day you will do.

The sharpener will keep you ready,

When your pencil is no longer new.

The eraser is to let you know

That it’s ok to make mistakes.

We will correct them and learn from them,

No matter what it takes!

The “Smarties” show that I know you are smart,

And really special too.

The “Lifesavers” are a reminder,

That I am here for you

The “Starbursts” are to tell you

That you are a star to me,

School can be tough at times,

But also fun, you’ll see.
